Dr. Francisco Fernandez

Dr. Fernandez graduated from the Autonomous University of Baja California, School of Medicine and Psychology. He has over 8 years of experience in medical practice and 6 years of specialized expertise in Regenerative Medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Fernandez has delivered exceptional medical care at
renowned institutions such as IMSS General Hospital No. 1 in Tijuana, Mexico. There, he completed his clinical training in various specialties, including surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, medical emergencies, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, and family medicine. He also performed community service at IMSS No. 18 in Tijuana, actively participating in community health campaigns, family medicine consultations, and emergency medical services.

Dr. Fernandez began his professional journey in occupational medicine, developing programs focused on the prevention, detection, and assessment of occupational diseases. He also evaluated ergonomics and managed primary care for occupational accidents at companies such as Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Baja California.

In 2018, he transitioned into Regenerative Medicine, working as Medical Director of Clinical Regenerative Medicine Research at a pain clinic in San Diego until 2020. There, he collaborated with a pain management specialist on regenerative treatments and research, particularly in spinal cord stimulation, partnering with companies like Medtronic and Nevro Corp.

Dr. Fernandez joined our team in 2021 and currently serves as the International Medical Director at R3 Stem Cell. In this capacity, he collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of physicians around the globe, continuously refining protocols to ensure the highest standards of care, optimize patient outcomes, and elevate overall patient satisfaction.
